Here at Academy we can remove straight and curved stairlifts and other disability equipmentand have them disposed of them safely for you at a small cost.
Temporary removal of stairlifts
We provide a service to our customers where we can temporarily remove your stairlift for you if you are having works such as new carpets fitted or redecoration work. We can even remove the stairlift on the morning of the carpet being fitted and then return later in the day to re-install it for you, or we can return on a different day of your choice.

We operate a call response desk 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and our engineers are trained on all makes of stairlifts & disability aids and have years of experience in dealing with the elderly and venerable making us sensitive to their needs. We are a locally based company and all our engineers operate out of new vehicles with satellite tracking so in the event of an emergency call response we can pinpoint the nearest engineer. We have approximately 15 engineers in the North-West area.
